How to Format a Post

Formatting your post can help ensure someone gets back to you quickly.

How to add a code snippet:

  1. To the left hand side of the text box you will see a paragraph editor button
  2. Click this and several options will appear including aicon.
  3. Click the icon and three more options will appear
  4. Click ‘ Code Block’ and a code block will appear

 

How to make the font bold/ italic or strikethrough:

Highlight the text you want to edit, once highlighted an editor bubble will come up with different options. You can then click on the formatting option that is best suited for your text.

 

Inserting bullet points:

  1. To the left hand side of the text box you will see a little paragraph editor button.
  2. Click the bullet point icon and select bulleted list or ordered list for numbered points.
Note: Press enter to create a new point.

 

Editing headings:

  1. To the left-hand side of the text box you will see a little paragraph editor button.
  2. Select the H2 icon and then select which heading you want to use.

H2 is the largest font

H5 is the smallest
