Content Types on Community

Discussion

We encourage all Community members to post discussion threads and interact with other discussions.

Purpose: To start a conversation or ask a question.

Tone: Open-ended, inquisitive, inviting participation.

How do I start a new discussion post?

Anyone who is a Community member can start a discussion post in a Topic or a Group. To start a new post, simply navigate to the Page or Group that best matches your question/discussion. From the Topic/Group, click on the “Ask a Question” or "Start a Discussion". Questions are threads that require an answer, while discussions are open-ended threads for ongoing conversations.

Your discussion posts and responses to questions are expected to have a human voice and can reflect your personal writing style. However, please do be mindful of our guidelines regarding rules of engagement & sensitive content before posting.

Structure:

  • Usually short and informal.
  • Includes a prompt or question.
  • May describe a problem or scenario and ask for advice or opinions.

Example:

Title: What's the best way to onboard new community members?
"I’m looking for effective onboarding strategies for new users. How do you make newcomers feel welcome and engaged?"

Goal: Encourage replies, different perspectives, and Community involvement.

Article

Can I post a blog/article?

We would love to hear from you! If there's anything you would like to share with the Quantexa Community in a blog/article format, please contact us.

Purpose: To provide information, insight, or analysis on a topic.

Tone: Professional, informative, sometimes research-based.

Structure:

  • Clear introduction, body, and conclusion.
  • May include data, sources, or examples.
  • More formal and polished than other types.

Example:

Title: The Evolution of Online Communities in the Last Decade
"Online communities have transformed drastically since 2015. This article explores key trends, from niche forums to AI-powered interactions..."

Goal: Educate, inform, or present an in-depth viewpoint.

Blog

Purpose: To share personal experiences, opinions, or updates.

Tone: Personal, conversational, storytelling.

Can I post a blog/article?

  • Informal and flexible format.
  • Often written in first person.
  • Can include anecdotes, tips, or reflections.

Example:

Title: Why I Switched from Slack to Discord for My Community

Goal: Connect with readers through personal voice; may inspire or entertain.
