How long have you been using Quantexa and what version do you use? It's been around 4 months now since I started using the Quantexa platform (version 2.0.8) as part of my Quantexa Academy journey. Initially, it posed a steep learning curve, but as I delved deeper, I began to enjoy using the platform. Whatâs your favourite thing about the Community? Quick turnaround. Traditionally, obtaining support for software-related queries can be time-consuming but the Quantexa Community based approached is tremendously helpful . Also, it gives an opportunity to share new ideas which can be beneficial to businesses. How often do you use the Community? Almost daily. I must mention the Academy support calls as well, which rapidly help to improve your knowledge about the platform. Whatâs the best/most exciting feature of the Quantexa platform? The most outstanding feature of the Quantexa platform is its remarkable flexibility and scalability. From data ingestion to UI customization, the platform offers extensive capabilities that empower users to tailor information display according to specific business requirements. Eline works as a Data Engineer and Technical Lead for the FPS Finance in Brussels (Belgium), we chatted with her to learn more about her Quantexa experience and how she unwinds. How long have you been using Quantexa and what version do you use? I started by doing the Quantexa Academy in February/March 2021 and I have been using the Quantexa Platform since May 2021. Weâre currently on version 2.4.4. Whatâs your favorite thing about the Community? I usually look into the All Discussions section. It's really helpful when youâre stuck on a certain topic or if youâre facing issues. There are already so many questions with an accepted answer, itâs handy to have a look at them when debugging or when implementing a new feature. On top of this, I love the fact that questions get answered quickly, in-depth, and personally. This gives me confidence when debugging as I know someone with more experience in this topic is helping me to solve my queries. How often do you use the Community? It depends on what I'm working on. If we're facing an issue in our project I'll use it multiple times a day, otherwise, I come to the Community to browse best practices & ideas to improve our project. Whatâs the most exciting feature of the Quantexa platform? I like the customizable expansion templates. Itâs pretty amazing being able to expand multiple nodes with the click of a button. By customizing the templates you have the ability to choose which type(s) of nodes you want to expand, which entities, which documents,etc. This creates detailed and exciting networks, it keeps the network view clean (as youâre not expanding everything by default) and it gives the end user the option to only expand and investigate what they are interested in. Whatâs your favorite food and why? I love Italian food, especially my homemade lasagna. Tell us a fun fact about yourself! How long have you been using Quantexa and what version do you use? I have been using Quantexa for over 9 months now and we are currently running on version 2.4.4.2 Whatâs your favourite thing about the Community? I like that it's very structured, meaning that you can find any subject easily by using the tags and the Topics provided, which is amazing. The post/comment functionalities are also very good as you have a template to create the ideal post which really helps pointing out the important info. How often do you use the Community? I tend to use it quite often, whenever there is a query in the project, and we cannot find the root cause I search the Documentation Site and Community, and if I don't find the solution, I post the query myself. Whatâs the most exciting feature of the Quantexa Platform? For me, it's the ability to integrate multiple data sources intelligently to get a unified record with the ability to control how the integration happens. This feature is very powerful not just in AML but in many other use cases like sales for example. Whatâs the life hack everyone should know? One life hack everyone should know is the 2-minute rule. If something takes less than two minutes to do, do it immediately. This helps prevent small tasks from piling up, reduces procrastination, and keeps your to-do list manageable. It's a simple way to stay productive and organized in both personal and professional life. Whatâs your favourite food and why? My favorite food is Koshari, it's a delicious mix of rice, lentils, pasta, and chickpeas topped with spicy tomato sauce and crispy onions. It's the ultimate Egyptian comfort food, combining rich flavors and textures, and it is extremely fast to prepare (can be done in less than 5mins), and yet very delicious at the same time. I am currently using version 2.0.1 and Iâve been using Quantexa since October 2023 Whatâs your favourite thing about the Community? My favourite thing about the Community is that youâre able to find similar errors and not only show the solution but also explain why you are getting that error. As well as errors, it is also a good place to understand topics, as Iâve found discussions where a detailed explanation was provided for a topic that I didnât understand properly. How often do you use the Community? I use the Community around 3 to 4 times a week Whatâs the best/ most exciting feature of the Quantexa platform? The best feature of the Quantexa platform would be Entity Resolution, how youâre able to see a unified view of entities from different datasets. Whatâs your favourite food and why? Seafood. Iâve grown up in Italy eating a variety of seafood dishes and this has contributed in making seafood my favourite food. Tell us a fun fact about yourself! I am fluent in Italian. How long have you been using Quantexa and what version do you use? I am currently using version 2.6.8 and have been using Quantexa since June 2022. Whatâs your favourite thing about the Community? My favourite part of the Community is how easy it is to find solutions or similar errors to the ones I'm facing. The threaded discussions make it simple to understand how the original problem was tackled, which really helps improve my approach to various challenges on my project. It's also great for staying up to date with the latest Quantexa updates. How often do you use the Community? I use the Community most days. Whatâs the best feature of the Quantexa platform? The best feature of the Quantexa platform has to be its User Interface (UI). It offers an easy and comprehensive view of vast amounts of data, which really helps us to understand the relationships in our data. Plus, the ability to customise UI components, like attributes and key client information, makes it even more engaging and useful. Whatâs the life hack everyone should know? One of the best productivity hacks I've found is using tools like 'Pomodoro timer' to focus on work in blocks without distractions. Also, I've been using an app called Opal which stops me from endlessly scrolling on my phone by removing access to certain apps for whatever time period I set. It's honestly a game-changer! Tell us a fun fact about yourself! I'm a very big fitness enthusiast who regularly goes running, gym, and CrossFit with my sight set on a 1:35:00 Brighton half marathon time in March 2025. And hopefully, work my way towards my first Hyrox in 2025/26! I have been using Quantexa for the past 2.5 years on version 1.7. Recently I have started working on upgrading to Quantexa 2.4.1. Whatâs your favorite thing about the Community? Even though I mostly use the Community for getting help on technical issues, the thing I like best is the blogs/discussions that give you an in-depth understanding about how the product works in the backend. How often do you use the Community? Generally at least a couple of times a week. Whatâs the best/ most exciting feature of the Quantexa platform? The feature we are most excited about is the ability to highlight the underlying nodes that triggered a score when you hover over a score on the scoring panel. Because of the complexity of the network that we have, our users are finding it really tough to figure out the triggering paths. We are looking forward to implementing this. Whatâs the best film youâve watched recently and why? Home. A Malayalam (a language from south end of India) movie that won the national award recently. Even though it was a low budget movie with no star cast, the storytelling and performances are exceptional. Whatâs your favourite food and why? Thalassery Biriyani. The aroma and flavour of it is amazing. For those who don't know its a type of biriyani that is common in the northern part of Kerala, a state from the south end of India.
