With over a decade of experience in presales, I've led solution engineering and data science teams, driving innovation and delivering impactful results across various industries. As the leader of the EMEA Banking Solution Engineering team at Quantexa, my team's primary focus is to initiate and cultivate the vital connection between prospective organisations and the Quantexa Customer Office (QCO). We ensure that each engagement begins on a solid foundation by precisely identifying the ideal Quantexa solution at the right time. How do you normally start your working day?:
I usually start my working day by taking an early train to the office, allowing me to arrive promptly and begin the day. Upon arrival, I enjoy a nice cup of tea while checking my emails and prioritising the day's tasks. This routine helps set a positive tone for the day ahead and ensures that I'm organised and prepared for whatever challenges may arise.
How would you describe a typical day?
A typical day for me starts with an early check of emails and messages, where I prioritise tasks based on urgency and upcoming meetings. I then spend my morning coordinating with team members, providing guidance on ongoing engagements, and strategising for client interactions ahead.
Throughout the day, I engage in client meetings, solution presentations, and discussions with sales and solution owners to ensure alignment on prospect needs and Quantexa offerings. I navigate challenges with confidence, leveraging my expertise to pinpoint the perfect solutions and drive value-focused conversations.
During lunchtime, if I am in the office, I often take a break by visiting a local food market, which is always a highlight of my day. It's a refreshing moment to recharge and enjoy some relaxation before diving back into the dynamic world of solution engineering.
As the day progresses, I continue to lead my team, offering support and mentorship while also attending to managerial responsibilities such as talent acquisition and team development. By day's end, I reflect on our progress and prepare for the opportunities and challenges that tomorrow will bring.
What do you enjoy most in your role?
One of the aspects I truly enjoy about my role is the opportunity to make client visits. These experiences not only allow me to connect with new prospects but also deepen relationships with our existing clients. Even though travel has reduced due to COVID-19, I still relish the chance to engage with prospects face-to-face, gaining valuable insights into their needs and challenges.
Attending market and industry events is another highlight for me. It provides an excellent opportunity to expand my network, learn from industry peers, and discover new vendors serving our market. These experiences not only keep me updated on industry trends and innovations but also fuel my passion for my role at Quantexa. They allow me to continually grow professionally while making meaningful connections within the industry.

What are your most memorable moments?
There are many highlights over the past three years. However, the one that stands out is when I had an opportunity to represent Quantexa in the Middle East Banking AI summit in Dubai and received an award on Quantexa’s behalf for the Best Risk Management Initiative.
What do you think are the most important attributes of a Solution Engineer?
A successful Solution Engineer at Quantexa requires a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving prowess, and excellent communication skills. They must have a customer-centric approach, actively listening to prospects' needs and tailoring solutions accordingly. Collaboration with sales teams and other stakeholders is essential, as is adaptability to changing priorities and market conditions. Additionally, a strong understanding of the broader business context enables them to effectively position Quantexa's solutions and drive value for customers in a dynamic environment.
What are you excited about at the moment?
At the moment, I'm incredibly excited about the growth opportunities we see in multiple regions across Europe, including the Nordics, Dach, and Italy. As we expand our footprint in those regions, I am currently hiring, and I am looking forward to contributing to their success, which is truly energising. Additionally, I'm thrilled about an exciting opportunity we're working on with one of our existing customers. We're exploring the use of GenAI and Large Language Models(LLMs) to support advanced analytics use cases, which represents a groundbreaking effort for Quantexa. I'm eager to be part of this pioneering journey and to see the impact it will have on our offerings and our customers.
