What is a "Topic"?
On the Quantexa Community, "Topics" are our collaboration forums that organise the content into different categories (e.g. Quantexa Platform Support, News & Announcements, Release Announcements etc.). Each "Topic" can be followed by members and questions can be posted in the "Topic". You can see a list of all available Topics here.
How do I follow a Topic?
Following a Topic is essential to ensure you are up to date with the Topics of your interest. For that, you can simply go to a Topic and click on the bell icon above the discussions list. A menu will display to set up your notifications for that specific Topic.
How can I see the Topics that I follow?
The easiest way to access the Topics you follow, is to click on “Discuss > My Topics” from the top menu ribbon.
Alternatively, you can also check the Topics you follow by going to your “Profile > Notification preferences”. A section at the bottom will display your followed Topics.
How do Topics differ from Groups?
Topics’ main objective is to provide a space for online discussion. Members are enabled to ask and share knowledge. These Topics will normally evolve around the Quantexa platform and its offerings.
Groups are organised around specific industries or solutions. In these, Community members are empowered to organise and host gatherings while having the opportunity to be part of the conversation.
How can I see the available Groups?
Click on “Connect > Groups” to access a list of all available Groups. From here, you will be able to join those that are public, and to request access to those that are private.
How can I suggest a new Topic or Group?
If you have checked out the list of existing Topics & Groups and you can't find an area you would like to suggest, you can submit a new Topic request to the Community team via this form. There you will find the criteria and requirements to suggest a new Community Topic or Group.
