Case Details Page

The case details page contains information about the specific case the user has opened. Here, the user can conduct analysis, document conclusions, generate SARs, or review CTRs.

The Case Details page consists of two panels.

  1. Overview Panel
  2. Details Panel

Overview Panel

When you select a Case from the list on the Cases Page, an overview and detailed information about the chosen Case are displayed, as shown below.

The overview section includes the following:

1️⃣ Summary

The Case summary provides a concise overview of the selected Case.

  • Name
  • ID
  • Type
  • Overall Score
  • Assignee
  • Creation Date
  • Due Date
  • Resolution Date
  • Workflow Stage
  • Workflow Status
  • Resolution Outcome
  • Subjects
  • Alerted documents
  • Submission Status
  • Submission Feedback

2️⃣ Scores & Scorecards

Scores are assigned when a Case involves an underlying Graph Resource. They represent the collection of alerts triggered within the Graph and environmental or context-based risk factors.

Ultimately, an Investigator reviews this Case because the Scorecard has identified a high risk level for further investigation.

3️⃣ Comments

You can record any observations, insights, or comments that may assist in investigating this Case. To do so, enter your observations in the comments box and click "Add Comment." Additionally, you can delete any comments that have been added to the Case.

4️⃣ Narrative

You can add a detailed narrative for the Case by entering the relevant Case information and clicking "Save" to preserve the details. The narrative represents the concluding remarks from the investigation regarding the Case contents.

5️⃣ History

You can view the full Case history and search it by event title. Additionally, you can filter the history based on the user associated with the Case. This contains all the actions and stage transitions that have occurred during the lifecycle of a Case.

Details Panel

The details page offers an in-depth analysis of the Case, providing comprehensive insights into all relevant aspects.

The details section includes the following:

1️⃣ Subjects

Subjects include the key individuals, businesses, organizations, or customers under investigation within the Case by the bank.

2️⃣ Linked Parties

Linked parties are the associated individuals, businesses, organizations, or customers connected to the Scorecard of the Case.

3️⃣ Resource

Resources are the set of Quantexa data objects (Entities, Documents, Transactions, and Graphs) that can be included in Cases by the user or automatically by the system in support of the user's conclusion(s) or decision(s). Users can add or remove resources as part of their Investigative processes for the given Case type.

Resources include:

  • Entities displayed in the Network (Graph) Tab
  • Documents displayed as Subjects, Linked Parties, or within the Network (Graph) Tab
  • Graphs displayed in the Network (Graph) Tab

4️⃣ Linked Cases

Linked Cases are a list of Cases in which the subject(s) of the current Case also appear as subjects in other Cases that the user is authorized to view. Essentially, it highlights instances where the subject has been previously investigated.

5️⃣ Attachments

In this section, you can upload any relevant attachments to the Case, download previously available documents, and delete any that are no longer relevant.
