Technical Lead

The Role

The Technical Lead (TL) plays a key role in leading developer teams to implement the Quantexa Platform. The TL guides and mentors the team of data engineers to solve complex technical problems. They engage with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical tasks and balance their time between hands-on programming and supporting their team’s work. The TL shepherds the project and client success.

• Recommended Experience:
  • Strong background grounded in data engineering, as well as proven experience leading data or software engineering teams - across a variety of complex POCs/implementations
  • Proficient in Scala and Spark
  • Expertise building and deploying production-level data processing batch systems, and working with cloud environments
  • Able to debug the most complex issues making use of supporting technologies
  • A strong technical communication ability with demonstrable experience of working in rapidly changing client environments. 
  • Gets the "right outcomes" on projects - through building trust and partnership, and strong stakeholder management
