Issues while setting up or modifying a search
I am currently experiencing an issue with the platform when attempting to set up or modify searches. When I make changes to a search or try to use a specific search as a template, the "update" or "save new" buttons do not seem to function correctly. Occasionally, the buttons can be pressed, but upon revisiting the search, the changes are not saved. Additionally, there are instances where the buttons are greyed out and unclickable. Could you please investigate this issue?Solved24Views0likes2CommentsTrend Endpoint: search for entity types

There is an overwhelming amount of news published every day, ranging from the international mainstream media to longtail specialist and local publications. Obviously, it is practically impossible to manually process such a large amount of data, let alone find what you’re looking for within it and then operationalize the data. A high-quality News API solves all these problems. The first job a News API does is aggregating global news. This removes the need to negotiate and maintain often complex commercial licenses with publishers at scale. When a news article is published, it is ingested by the News API. The second job a News API does is transform unstructured news articles into structured news data, by using machine learning and natural language processing, effectively providing access to an ever-growing news database that can be searched and filtered with sophisticated queries that return more significantly more relevant results than e.g. a Google search. The third job a News API does is to help operationalize that data by making integration easy. News API outputs JSON objects which can be easily integrated into machine learning models or analyst-facing applications.31Views0likes0CommentsAylien rebrands to Quantexa News Intelligence

The majority of Quantexa News Intelligence customers require news data for risk or market intelligence use cases. News is a critical data source for early identification and proactive monitoring of risk types across an organization’s entire risk landscape. It provides a critical component across the risk management lifecycle of Identify, Assess, Control, and Monitor, particularly for non-financial risks, such as operational, enterprise, third-party, supply chain, and ESG risk. Regulatory and standards bodies have already started to recommend, and even require, the use of news in risk management. With Quantexa News Intelligence, organizations can filter global news to focus only on relevant news articles. For example, a search query can combine defined entities (e.g. a list of suppliers, and the countries they operate in) with topical categories (e.g. supply chain logistics issues, or civil unrest), so that the organization can proactively monitor risks, and act fast before a risk turns into a crisis. Market intelligence also has a need for comprehensive and reliable news data, particularly in the areas of media monitoring, competitive intelligence, and even sales intelligence. For example a global manufacturer can track their competitors in the news to discover product announcements, reviews, and overall media sentiment, which is vital for their own strategy. The integration of news data generally takes place in two ways: data for training machine learning models, and data to power news feeds in applications.2Views0likes0CommentsWhat differentiates Quantexa News API from other News APIs?
There are many News APIs on the market, all with the purpose of providing access to news at a massive scale, ranging from basic to state-of-the-art capabilities. More often than not, you get what you pay for, and basic News APIs are low cost and low quality. Basic News APIs provide you with access to a large amount of news (often not comprehensive, and certainly not always trusted news content), but data enrichments are minimal, usually only including the article title, source, author, date published, and URL. With such a paucity of data enrichments it can be extremely difficult and time consuming to find relevant news articles amongst the noise, and even harder to extract insights. At the opposite end of the scale are the high cost, established enterprises which have a News API as one of their hundreds of products. At Quantexa News Intelligence, we’ve lost count of the amount of times that disgruntled customers of theirs have approached us to switch to Quantexa News API, due to their frustration at poor customer service and a lack of product innovation. What differentiates Quantexa News Intelligence from our competitors is the quality and extent of NLP enrichments for every news article. Quantexa’s cutting-edge AI capabilities recognise and tag over 5.6 million entities (people, organizations, locations, products etc) as well as tag each article from over 4,500 topical categories and industries, including risk and market intelligence-based taxonomies. Combined with other advanced NLP capabilities like entity-level sentiment analysis, and real-time event clustering, Quantexa News API provides organizations with the most accurate, efficient, and effective way of monitoring and analysing the world’s news.21Views0likes0CommentsWhat does Quantexa News Intelligence do?
