A new version of the core technical training for all Quantexa Architects!

We are thrilled to announce the availability of Quantexa Platform Architecture (QPA) Release 2.

The program is a refreshed and expanded version of the architecture-focused certification program, reflecting current best practices and technology.

It is a great upskilling opportunity for graduates of the previous program and a gateway for all future solution architects involved in Platform deployment.

This project is the first major delivery of the Academy’s Consultancy-based Projects, where SMEs took ownership of content development. Read more about it below.

What’s changed?

  • Updated content, reflecting the latest Platform capabilities, terminology, and best practices
  • Refreshed hands-on module aligned with Quantexa version 2.8
  • Three new modules covering security, integration capabilities, and solutioning options
  • More knowledge checks and quizzes to reinforce your learning

Who is this program for?

  • You’re a Solution Architect or Technical Consultant working with the Quantexa Platform, or
  • You’re new to Quantexa and want to build a solid architectural foundation, or
  • You’ve previously completed the QPA course and want to get up to speed with the latest changes.

Program structure:

You will first complete a short Introduction module and the Quantexa Technical Foundations program. Then, you’ll work through eight QPA modules and take a final Viva exam with Quantexa Architecture SMEs:

  1. Platform Overview
  2. Product Components Overview
  3. All Things Data
  4. Deployment Options
  5. Smoke Test
  6. Integration Capabilities
  7. Security Overview
  8. Product Solution Options
  9. Online Viva Knowledge Assessment

What does the Viva Knowledge Assessment involve?

The Viva is a 1.5-hour oral assessment conducted with a Quantexa architect, consisting of two parts:

  1. Architectural topics discussion - You will be asked to present and discuss your understanding of the Platform tiers, data processing flows, and deployment options.
  2. Design challenge - You will be given a real-world scenario to architect a solution for. You'll present your solution using a slide deck you have prepared (e.g., using PowerPoint), followed by a Q&A session where you will defend your design decisions.

To prepare, review the course materials and Quantexa documentation, focusing on how the Platform works end-to-end and its key architectural considerations. Be ready to demonstrate your ability to make and justify trade-offs across scalability, performance, security, and data management.

Please book your session at least 2 weeks in advance.

ℹ️ If you do not pass the Viva, you will receive feedback on areas for improvement and can arrange a retake.

How long does it take to complete this program?

We estimate it will take you 2-3 weeks full-time to complete it end-to-end, including the Assessment.

Dedicated Community space

As we roll out the program, we're excited to introduce a dedicated Community Q&A space for the Architecture practitioners. Learners can post questions about the content and receive answers and support directly from the Architecture Team.

How to enroll?

  • If you are a Customer, contact your Quantexa Technology Account Partner (TAP).
  • If you are a Partner, contact your Quantexa Alliance Lead.
